This patient used a pacifier until she was 3 years old which caused her front teeth to form into an “Open Bite”. She hated the mamelon bumps on her front teeth. They naturally flatten over time when you chew, but her top & bottom teeth never touch due to the open space. To fix this, Dr. Dang performed incisal reshaping by filing the edges straight. To correct her overall bite and alignment, we recommended braces to straighten her teeth and close the anterior open bite.
